Dr. Jennifer Sheahan is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist at the Veterinary Eye Clinic. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2011, graduating with honors.
Dr. Sheahan's educational journey began with her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, where she majored in Biology and Criminology, graduating with honors in 2003. After veterinary school, Dr. Sheahan completed a one-year rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at The Ohio State University. She then pursued a three-year residency in comparative ophthalmology at Animal Eye Care.



As a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (DACVO), Dr. Sheahan specializes in eye care for animals. Her particular interests include ophthalmic pharmacology, dry eye disorders, and retinal diseases.
At the Veterinary Eye Clinic, Dr. Sheahan is known for her compassionate and professional approach to patient care. She and her team have been praised for their swift action in emergency situations and their dedication to following up during recovery periods.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sheahan enjoys photography, running, travelling, and spending time with her family.
