Our Why
As an online learning platform founded by practicing veterinarians, we’ve experienced both the benefits and the challenges that come naturally with this career.
When we started, we identified a lack of mentors in the veterinary field, which posed challenges for veterinarians who were looking to learn and improve their skills. Vet courses were also costly, and most did not offer flexible scheduling which can be difficult for busy vets to attend.
We strongly believed that this did not have to be our status quo. We created The Vet Tribe as we are determined to evolve the global vet industry into one with confident, passionate and fully supported veterinarians.

FROM VISION TO REALITY
Meet the Founders
The Vet Tribe was born from a shared vision between three co-founders: Dr. Patrycja, Dr. Magda, and Dr. Ron. Together, they bring years of hands-on experience and a deep passion for empowering veterinarians.
Dr. Patrycja and Dr. Magda, originally from Poland, moved to Australia, where they work as emergency veterinarians, gaining firsthand insights into the challenges vets face daily. Their journey began with NEWGRADVETS, an educational platform they co-founded in Poland, which has successfully supported thousands of young veterinarians with practical, real-world knowledge. This success motivated them to expand their efforts on a global scale.
Dr. Ron, a veterinarian and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, has a diverse background, having lived and studied across multiple continents, including China, America, the UK, and Australia, from primary school through to university. His unique perspective, blending veterinary practice with entrepreneurial expertise, has been instrumental in shaping The Vet Tribe’s direction and mission.
Together, they have built The Vet Tribe to be more than just a learning platform. Their goal is to unite a global community of veterinarians, guided by board-certified specialists, who seek to enhance their skills and stay on the cutting edge of veterinary care. They are committed to fostering continuous learning and professional growth through their online courses and resources, designed to support vets at every stage of their careers.
Dr. Magda West DVM
An emergency veterinarian at one of Melbourne’s busiest hospitals, she always kicks off a shift with an almond flat white in hand. She splits her time between Australia, her husband Daniel’s home in New Zealand and family in Poland - Layla the dog never far from her side Driven and down‑to‑earth, Magda turns every challenge into a chance for growth.
Dr. Patrycja Zimmermann DVM GCSAECC
Patrycja once called Melbourne home but made a quick escape to Brisbane for the sunnier skies - and she's not looking back! A busy mom of two (#TwoUnderTwo) and proud owner of two Burmese cats, Patrycja still finds time to work as an emergency veterinarian. Life may be hectic, but she’s got it all under control (well, mostly!).
Dr. Ron See DVM
Ron followed in his older brother's footsteps into veterinary medicine, but he’s carved out his own unique path. After years in Australia, he’s settled in Los Angeles. When he’s not juggling ventures, Ron stays up to date with the latest in veterinary medicine, thanks to his wife, who recently completed her training as a specialist in critical care medicine, and their two cats who supervise his every move.
