Meet Your Mentor
Dr Kristi Kobluk DVM DACVAA
American Board-Certified Veterinary Anaesthesiologist.
Calm Clinician. Practical Educator.
Dr Kristi Kobluk is a board-certified veterinary anaesthesiologist currently based in New York. She earned her veterinary degree from Iowa State University, completed a competitive small animal internship at VCA West Los Angeles, and completed her anaesthesia residency at UC Davis - one of the most respected veterinary teaching hospitals in the world.
In 2022, she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (DACVAA). Today, she teaches and practices at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, working across species and services.
“Anaesthesia can be intimidating - and I remember that feeling. My goal is to help vets feel more confident, more organised, and less alone when they’re managing a patient under GA.”
Kristi brings warmth, clarity, and grounded clinical experience to her teaching - helping you move from uncertainty to capability, one decision at a time.
Meet Dr. Kristi
Learn from a Specialist
Dr Kristi Kobluk brings specialist-level knowledge to the realities of general practice. With experience across species and clinical settings, she teaches anaesthesia the way it should be taught - clearly, practically, and with respect for the pressures of vet work.
Reduce Stress
This course isn’t about memorising drug lists or reviewing outdated theory. It’s about decision-making in real time - how to plan, sedate, intubate, monitor, and recover patients safely and effectively, with the tools and protocols that work in your setting.
Build Confidence
Anaesthesia can be stressful. This course helps you stay calm and in control - by giving you the structure, clarity, and reasoning behind each step. Because confident anaesthesia doesn’t come from guessing. It comes from knowing what to do, and why.
